Road Closures Announced Around Hersheypark With Two Big Concerts Ahead This Weekend

Travelers in the Hershey area will face road closures this weekend as two concerts are scheduled to take place at Hersheypark Stadium. The Foo Fighters and Journey will perform on Friday night, while Green Day will take the stage on Saturday night. Derry Township Police have announced road closures for the upcoming concerts.

The following roads will be closed on Friday and Saturday nights from 4 p.m. to midnight:

• Park Avenue from Chocolate Avenue to Sand Hill Road
• Sand Hill Road from Park Avenue to Bullfrog Valley Road
• Bullfrog Valley Road from Sand Hill Road to Hersheypark Drive

In addition, the following roads will be closed on Saturday night only from 4 p.m. to midnight:

• Hersheypark Drive from Bullfrog Valley Road to Park Avenue
• Park Avenue from Hersheypark Drive to Chocolate Avenue

Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Alternate routes should be taken. There will be no parking along the closed roads.
