Mercyful Fate, the legendary Danish heavy metal band, is back with a new album and tour.
Formed in 1981, Mercyful Fate is known for their dark and atmospheric sound, which has influenced countless bands over the years. The band's most famous lineup featured vocalist King Diamond, guitarist Hank Shermann, bassist Timi Hansen, and drummer Kim Ruzz. The new Mercyful Fate album is titled "Lucifer's Symphony" and is set to be released on March 26, 2023. The album features ten new songs, including the singles "The Jackal of Salzburg" and "The Funeral Pyre". The band has also announced a world tour in support of the album, which will begin on April 18 in Copenhagen and end on June 22 in Los Angeles. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
